Default cheap external flashes from china?

hi guys,

i'm not sure if china offers cheap photographic accessories ( only know HK is popular for that ).. but if there is, what do you think i should buy from there? the YongNuo460 is pretty popular among strobists but i'm not going for that because it's a full manual flash - more for off-camera setups. i need an ext. flash that works seamlessly with my 1000d ( talking about this, are the canon speedlites, like 430exII or 580exII cheaper in china than SG? ) any recommendations?

how is your experience with yongnuo 460?
wat's mean for full manual flashgun? does it work and flash together when you press the shutter button like the built-in flash?

I think auto refers to the metering functions i.e. TTL, ETTL etc. Makes no sense to make a flash that does not fire with shutter actuation. Nobody will be able to syn the shutter with the flash "manually" except maybe spiderman (he is a photographer afterall)
