S5000 or Dimage Z1 ?

Hi guys and gals, thinking of getting one of the above mentioned cameras. But do not know which one to choose. Heard that the lens for the Fuji is better, but the resolution of Dimage is better as Fuji uses interpolation and the Dimage does not? Also heard that the SD memory storage is better than Xd?

Hope you guys could help, this would be my firdt digital camera so not very sure wat to get.

i'm not an expert but i personally own the S5000.

technically speaking, the Z1 is better. but i find the Z1 like a toy cos of the shape.

the S5000 makes u more "pro" cos of the SLR-likeness.

it's best if u compare both when u r shopping.
