    Default Yashica MF-2 Super problem!

    Hi all,

By any chance is anyone using the Yashica MF-2 super film camera?

    http://www.yashica.com/product-camcorder-EZ3.htm

Had problem rewinding the film and was wondering if the rewind lever is suppose to be dangling out when you flip the camera around? It doesnt seem to stick to the camera!!

    Need help! thanks,

    Wen.

    Hi Hongwen

Have you check whether you have fully "wind" the rewind lever?

If you have not done so, i think its normal for the rewind lever to dangle when you flip the camera around.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Fox,

Thanks for the reply. I followed the instruction as to pull up the lever when inserting the film, then press it down. But it doesnt stay down, instead it will dangle when i turn the camera.

What do you mean by fully "wind" ? Do I "wind" it when i install the film ?

    Thanks,
    Wen.

    Hi Hongwen

Sorry, misunderstand your question. Thought u were referring to the portion which you "reload" a shot, that is after shooting a frame.

You may want to take a look at this video.

If you are following what he is doing, and the thing still does not stay down, most likely its broken.

    Good luck!
