Tammy 17-50 Distortion
Is it just my lens? Heard so many good reviews about the tammy 17-50 but the distortion at the sides are pretty bad though the EQ is great. Funny how the distortion is worse than my Nikkor 18-200.

Don't think it's just your lens. The IQ of the 17-50 drops quite dramatically at the edges and corners at 17mm. Quite visible when viewed at 100%. I find the image circle is not quite large enough to really cover the frame at 17mm. If you want better edge to edge performance, the 17-55 Nikkor is the way to go...

yup, distortion is quite bad at 17mm.
with my lens, I tend to center my subjects when shooting at 17mm just to avoid this. |
