Why does everyone want to compare SG babes to other countries?
Personally, I dun really think the thai FHM babes are any better.
Most of them dun fit the GND theme at all.

Maybe it is my laptop which I am using right now...but I think photos are not really focused. What comes to babes, they are all good as long as they are Asians . If Europeans, you need to shoot with wide angle...

GND stands for Girls Next Door, I think everybody knows that. Does not fit the theme? Actually we are in no position to judge that because we are not qualified to do so. These girls are so called GND girls, which in other words, rather tone-down version of sexiness. Hey, it is FHM that organizes this event and what is FHM popular for? Sexy, allure, intriguing, captivating... These Thailand girls have achieved all that. That's where FHM attracts a huge amount of crowd. That's FHM. You don't find any real girl next door type wearing T-Shirts, loose shorts, slippers, uncombed hair and a face that looked like she just woke up from her sleep in the FHM circle. Also, I am pretty sure that nobody would be interested in what GND if they all wear some normal jeans or simple T-Shirts, etc. Who would want to look at them? They are all over the streets. Nothing special. At least not on a marketing point of view. Try getting Johnson & Johnson to organize a real Girls Next Door competition and see if it stirs up this much of attention...?

My friend, I say the Thai FHM GND girls you see on my thread is really GND. You have not seen the real FHM models yet. It is a pity that I wasn't allowed to bring my camera inside their parties...

Hee hee hee. As a mattar of fact, I did have my best camera with me! Its very good! It can autofocus extremely fast in any condition of light, able to to capture light effectively around 7 stops! If given time of about 30 mins, it may be able to adapt to light conditions and is able to see maybe more than 20 stops! 100% color accurate reproduction! Noiseless handling at all light conditions! Extremely high resolution as well! Aperture range between f/2 to f/8. Further more, it is able to obtain a viewangle of about 200 degrees! Perfect sharpness!

It was really too bad that my best camera is not able to record images! Sigh...

In all my posts, I had never written anything implying I looked down on our very own local girls. We do have sexy girls in Singapore but they did not show up in the show, that's all. I have seen many sexy good looking Singaporean girls as well. I just do not want to comment on our local girls only. Please do not jump to any assumptions ah. I never did say anything or imply anything correlating or indicating that Singaporean girls are inferior.

If you like any girls better, by all means go ahead and like them. That's what you see. That's what you like. No one can say your taste is not good.

All these are pretty personal I must say. Let's keep it at a neutral point of view. What I am trying to imply is: Getting the expectation correct of FHM.

Look at it this way, you buy a FHM magazine, flipped through the pages, seen many photos of women wearing nice clothes, fashionable accessories, nice hairdo, fantastic make-up, beautiful girls, etc. So... This is FHM? If this is FHM, then I think it will not work. What is FHM famous for? When you think of FHM, what comes into your mind. Be honest. Sex, sexy, sensuous. In FHM roadshows, you often see these factors there. Girls wearing sexy clothes, sexy poses, good bodies. You see fashion walks, or beauty pagaents type. This is not FHM.

We do not look for or go for girls with good looks as priority in FHM. We are looking for girls that has good bodies and knows how to sell their sex appeal and make their viewers have "feelings". When viewers have "feelings", they will want more. When they want more, they will buy the magazine and look to see they can find more of what they want to see. If they like what they see, they will continue to buy the magazine month over month. In the marketing point of view, that is business and that is marketing. If the girls are sexy and has looks, all the better. The best of both worlds. But FHM is not doing fashion or beauty pageants!

Yo... I recommend you should also try (if you have a chance) tom sap (either chicken or pork, no mutton here...), tom kar gai, gang jeud. All these are good soups! Yum yum!

But I still like many of our local Chinese flavored soup ah!!! I missed Chinese food!! Argh!!!
