Default Innocence (Kids)

Went shooting today with some friends, made it back with some shots for critiques and comments. I hope you all like the shots. Shots were taken with 50mm f/1.8 in ambient lighting.

Please feel free to drop any critiques and comments.

I like these two the most. The little girl's face in the first shot seems a little OOF, maybe due to shallow DOF. Did u focus on her face or clothes? Could use a little more saturation too. The 2nd shot...I like the expression on the toddler's face. Perhaps you can crop out the lady on the right...and focus only on the father and child. Too bad her hand is in the way though...

Keep snapping!

Hi garion, thanks for your compliments

I think due to center weighted metering and large aperture, the cam focused on the brighter colourful part of the clothes and legs in front thus the head was slightly OOF, just realised it as you pointed out. Will be more careful next time.
