Default Need Advice

Hi ,

My name is Robert , I would like to know any who have try to record a live event on the Video cam and straight recording it to the hard disk recorder ?.

How is the connect going to be .

If any of u have done this before ? can I have some advice on how to do the connection please… i am using sony FX1E camera.

You can connect your FX1 to a hard disk recorder (e.g. Firestore by Focus Enhancements or Citidisk) via the firewire output on your FX1.

If you mean those DVD hard disk recorder decks, you actually have the choice of firewire output or RCA output from the FX1 to the recording deck. You just have to press the "record" button on the recording deck to start the recording. (I've done this before. Works great if you just want a simple recording of an event!)
