Putting my A700 + CZ 16-80 up for sale. Lens & Body were calibrated in January by Sony and the focussing is now super accurate and consistent. Sony calibrated the lens to the body as the body focussing was fine (many CZ 16-80 have Back / Front focussing problems with A700). Cleaning and checking was done as well under warranty, and both lens & body were given a "clean bill" of health

This CZ 16-80 is the main reason why I have been hesitating to upgrade to A900 for so long - there is just no equivalent on FF within this price range. It is sharp & perfectly useable wide open and has the best bokeh of any lens I've had within this same aperture range. The tamron 17-50 is junk compared to this lens because it isn't sharp wide open (especially at the sides) - which defeats the purpose of having f2.8 - and does not have the same level of microcontrast and preservation of highlight / shadow detail as the CZ.

Both body and lens are just out of warranty, but Sony did a full check and calibration and found everything in perfect working order. Both have been well taken care of and are in good condition. Shutter count is around 15K - Lots of life left in this excellent DSLR.
