![]() Here are the usual items and enquires for new models/recommendation are welcome. However i also need your feedback so that i can improve on the price with my supplier. New to Gitzo??? Please go to gitzo website(link is above logo) and check your requirements. As this is a mass sales, i'm unable to entertain try out of tripods/heads for your equipment however there are shops out there which you can try. What I can do here to provide recommendation and information about gitzo as i've full range of catalogs. For clearance sale items pls go over here. History of Gitzo from Wikipedia. Gitzo S.A. is a manufacturer of photographic accessories, including bags, but specialising in tripods and supports. Founded by Arsène Gitzhoven in 1917 initially producing cameras, shutters, and cable releases, but between 1942 and 1944 with World War II in full swing, the company closed for the duration of the occupation. During the 1950s, tripods were introduced into their product range, and shortly after, Gitzhoven retired, and his daughter, Yvonne Plieger took over the company. She and her husband became more and more dedicated to creating a range of high quality photographic tripods. In 1992, Gitzo became part of the Vitec group, that also owns Manfrotto, described in corporate literature as "a multinational holding company specialised in supporting professional photographers, broadcasters and filmmakers." In 2005, Gitzo completed their transfer of production from France to Italy, a process which began in 2001. ![]() Accessories: Short coloums(all series) Center coloums(Series 3,4,5) Lateral Arms Graduated right Angle Bracket Dolly Double platforms Monitor platform location shoe Big foot/Big feet Dovetail Quick release adapter QR plate long Offset brackets ***Please enquires on gitzo products only. If you want a "all in one tripod" i would suggest you should look at Gitzo series 3 systematic tripod as you will have better support for your 400mm F2.8 lens at a long run.
Anything else, please PM. thanks! Last edited by jnet6; 14th July 2009 at 11:43 AM. |
