No. Not grey
But take note, unfilled warranty is useless. You need a receipt to claim warranty as the receipt will show the date the camera is bought. If you do not have the receipt, then Nikon singapore will check their data base (against your camera serial number) as to when the camera is distributed to their retailer and that will be taken as the date the warranty starts. |

Before you sign up you will be directed to a page on the term of use, do read the warranty condition near the end of the Term of Use - (I extracted some para here)
It spells quite clearly, what you need to know. "Warranty Conditions The online form you are submitting is only an application form for warranty services for your Nikon Product (“Warranty”). This is NOT a certificate for or record of, and does not in itself entitle you to, the Nikon Warranty Services. You must complete all required fields of the form. By registering your Nikon Product online at http://www.nikonclub.com.sg, you will automatically become a member of Nikon Club and hereby agree to abide by the Terms of Use governing Nikon Club membership. 1. ELIGIBILITY 1.1 The Warranty is only applicable to and available for the range of Nikon digital and film cameras, the range of camera accessories, lenses, speedlights, binoculars and filmscanners and filmscanner accessories. It is not applicable to or available for any other products as Nikon may prescribe from time to time. 1.2 The Warranty for the range of Nikon digital cameras, digital camera accessories, filmscanners and filmscanner accessories is only applicable and available to individuals, companies, businesses or societies resident in Singapore. 1.3 The Warranty is not applicable and not available for servicing outside of Singapore, except for the range of Nikon film cameras, film camera accessories, lenses, speedlights, and binoculars. 2. VALIDITY OF WARRANTY 2.1 Upon receipt of your application form, Nikon will in its sole discretion determine whether your application for the Warranty is valid. Nikon's decision is final, and you hereby agree to abide by and irrevocably waive any right to challenge or dispute Nikon's decision. 2.2 The Warranty and any Extension for Camera Products under Clause 4 below is only valid after Nikon has verified the details provided by you in the online application form. 2.3 In the event that your application for the Warranty is not valid or Nikon rejects such application for any reason whatsoever, you will not be entitled to the Warranty. Nikon may, but is not obliged, to send you an email informing you of such invalidity or rejection. 3. SCOPE OF WARRANTY 3.1 A valid Warranty shall commence on the date of your purchase of the Nikon Product, and is valid for one (1) full year, as stated in your Nikon Service Warranty Card (the "Warranty Period"). 3.2 Under the Warranty, your Nikon Product will be guaranteed against any manufacturing defects during the Warranty Period. All other claims of any nature are not covered under this Warranty. 3.3 The Warranty excludes and does not cover any damage caused by: 3.3.1 accident; 3.3.2 misuse or unauthorized repairs or modifications; 3.3.3 dropping or improper care or storage; and/or 3.3.4 sand or water. 3.4 The Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear and/or expendable items including but not limited to batteries, silicon gels, O-rings or any other items that will degrade with time. 3.5 The Warranty does not cover cleaning and maintenance of the Nikon Product. 3.6 Local Warranties 3.6.1 A Local Warranty is only valid in the country in which you purchase your Nikon Product. 3.6.2 During the Warranty Period, repairs or adjustments falling within the scope of the Warranty will be made free of charge upon presentation of the Nikon Local Warranty Card (Copy 'C', customer's portion), together with your original purchase receipt or other evidence of purchase, to authorized Nikon Service Facilities in the country of purchase. The original purchase date should be established via the purchase receipt or other evidence. 3.6.3 If you bring your Nikon Product under Local Warranty to a Nikon Service Facility in any other country other than the country of purchase, you will be charged for all servicing and support provided. 3.7 Worldwide Warranties 3.7.1 During the Warranty Period, repairs or adjustments falling within the scope of the Warranty will be made free of charge upon presentation of the Nikon Local Warranty Card (Copy 'C', customer's portion), together with the purchase receipt or other evidence of purchase, to authorized Nikon Service Facilities in any country. The original purchase date should be established via the purchase receipt or other evidence. 4. EXTENSION OF WARRANTY FOR CAMERA PRODUCTS ONLY 4.1 For a limited period and until further notice, Nikon will extend the Warranty for all Digital Single Lens Reflex camera bodies and Digital compact cameras ("Camera Products") by an additional three (3) months (the "Extension") if you register your Nikon Camera Product online. The extended warranty is not applicable to Camera Accessories or Lenses. 4.2 The terms governing the Warranty during the Extension are as stated in your Nikon Service Warranty Card, save that during the Extension, your Warranty (whether Worldwide or Local during the Warranty Period) is valid within Singapore only. 4.3 The Warranty during the Extension is only valid if: 4.3.1 you register your Camera Product online at http://www.nikonclub.com.sg; 4.3.2 you register your Camera Product before the expiry of the Warranty Period.
