canon selphy keeps saying no paper

My canon Selphy CP 750 is giving me problems. It keeps saying no paper although there is! The printer doesn't "catch" the paper.

is this a common problem I wonder? very irritating...

Happens to my CP720 also. Try removing the paper tray and reinserting it. It work for me after a couple of trys.

Thanks Tony for replying.

I did send it to Canon for checking.

THe service centre said that the inside of the printer had collected some dust, so it couldn't "eat" the paper. So they gave it a thorough cleaning.

I did ask them how did the dust get there, since I did keep it in the box. The answer they gave was "it just happens".

Sorry to hijack thread..

but same c720 user here..

I inserted sd card with pics but get error message saying there is no pictures..but there is on laptop. tried direct laptop printing. also cannot print at all.

Did anyone have this problem?
