i know pentax put it into the K20D as a sort of crippled video-mode test along with their live view system, but I'm sure there are some ways to put it to good use, or some instances where it has come in handy.
so far all I've done with the burst mode is tell family and friends to do something stupid for the camera and then convert the JPGs into an animated gif for some laughs and giggles. i use some program that compiles all 119 JPGs into a gif automatically, but it adds some text at the top since it's a shareware version. what have you guys done with the 21fps burst mode on your K20D? |

you can easily use photoshop cs animation toolbar to do this, but it will involve more work at least there will not be text at the top. anyways, i have not used it at all. |

in any case, the standards and demands of sports photogrpahy has changed a lot from what it was before, 21 fps is what, 2 megapixels right, that is not going to be nearly enough for a lot of today's demands. |

Only played with it twice, makes pretty decent HD videos if you bother to put them together. It's 1.5 megapix, so 1024 pixels on the short side. But I haven't really found a good use for it yet.
Have to watch in HD mode to see that it's hi-res though.... |
