    Default Beach Road Army Market

I like to check, does this place open on weekends and what are the opening hours?
    If anyone knows?
Is it recommended to buy trekking stuff from here?

Also, like to confirm, it is on level 3 above the Golden Mile Food Centre, right?

just be sure of what you're buying.. Cos prices can differ. It also helps if you have a friend who know's the seller. Less likely to get chopped and may get discounts.

    Yes
Some shops will open late, even on Sundays to 8-9pm, knowing that NS boys make last minute purchases.

    Cheers

    There's not much trekking equipments.
If you're looking at >50l bags, Osprey(light-weight & affordable) is available at Sports Connection, Shaw branch for the customised fit-moulding oven.
For Vaude & Tatonka, go to Planet Traveller, they may still have promotion/discounts.
And by any chance if you need a 60-70l bagpack, check out Vaude Accept or Astra II, light weight and durable material.
For wider range of trekking equipments, go to Velocity, Novena Square.
They have trek poles, sleep bags, head lamps, trek shoes and etc.
If you have deep pockets, go to Camper's Corner at Cityhall, they have Arteryx.
