I doubt that this will affect the film SLR market that much though, considering that the digital SLR systems are still too expensive for the majority of the users so there will still be plenty of film SLR users to tap into.
Hmm... I wonder if this is the reason why the modern SLR bodies (supposed advance polymer bodies) aren't built as strong as the older metallic models, so that there is an "incentive" to upgrade/replace ones SLR body after a few years? |

heh...I do hvta agree with you...there's always all the die hard Nikon film buffs to support Nikon's film based SLRs....just hope Nikon keeps that in mind in their marketing strategies and not end this great legacy of cameras.....

well, there are still lottsa photographers who still shooting slides, so film SLR will still have to be around............unless one day digital takes over.
