Hi Guys, Went to CCK way with Tagorean after a rainy morning. It was a fruitful trip indeed. Every 5 steps we walk, we spot a subject !! Many subjects come out to dry themselves i suppose. Here are my takes for the day. C&C welcomed
Shot with a 40D 100mm Macro F2.8 USM Raynox DCR-250 DIY Diffuser Exif data available in the individual pics in my Flickr ISO 100 #1 Common Garden Spider ![]() #2 Fighting Spider hiding in nest I though this was kinda cute. Hiding in his nest from the rain. So shot him in his home. ![]() #3 Unidentified Caterpillar Can anyone ID this Caterpillar for me ?? ![]() #4 Yellow Assassin Bug ![]() #5 Hasselt's Spiny Spider This was one the spiders on my "To shoot" list. So many of them in CCK !! I think i saw over 8 of them ! But kinda tricky to shoot them, thanks to Tagorean for telling me that I'm shooting the butt instead of the head !!! ![]()

#6 Twig-like Feathered Legged Spider
I was quite happy to spot this. Always wanted to have the chance to shoot this, and he even got a tapau meal ! This shot shows him spinning the web all over his meal. ![]() #7 Twig-like Feathered Legged Spider Not easy at all, spent quite alot of time on this fella. Got alot of difficulty locating its eyes, and so small some more. ![]() #8 Twig-like Feathered Legged Spider Another angle of the gem. ![]() #9 Lesser Dart ![]()

Finally show hand! Very well exposed with details of the black portions without getting burnt on the shell. Nice capture of the twig-like spider too.

Thanks Uncle James ! See lah......Now you know how much you missed out. Yes, after shooting for awhile, it becomes a collection. TO hunt down those species which you are missing. Now that you mentioned it......the fighting spider does look kinda shocked......Hahaha
