Default New E-3 shutter release modes??

After I upgraded my E-3 firmware to 1.4, I found new options in the shutter release mode selection. Could anyone please tell me what is the additional diamond shape stands for?

spidey89 is right. It is Anti-Shock aka mirro lock-up.

If you have configured Anti-Shock for x number of seconds, activating this shutter release mode (the ones with a diamond shape) will activate the Anti-Shock timer. This is not a new addition, it was in the original firmware. I like this feature as I only need to set my preferred Anti-Shock timer once, and I can activate it a lot quicker and easier through this menu.

Thanks Spidey and Hitman. I got it.

But I'm still curious in what situation do we need mirror lockup with the L and H release modes?

I guess it is an Olympus Engineer who do not understand the L and H modes doing the programming, and it is definitely easier to apply the software code throughout the shutter release modes than individually. That's just my guesses.

The only time Anti-Shock is useful in the L and H release modes (according to me) is bracketing shots when the camera is on a tripod and you are using a cable release. I can press and lock the shutter on the cable release until all the required shots are taken, instead of pressing the shutter 3 or 5 times. I cannot think of any other instances when Anti-Shock is useful or practical in the L and H release modes.
