Domke padded inserts, do they have a base?

I seem to be receiving conflicting information regarding these Domke padded inserts. Do they come with a base or is it just the 4 walls and separators?

The bag comes with padded base. some models are removable
the insert does not have a padded base.

Has a base but is not padded, at least on mine. Mine comes with the Domke J1, not a purchased insert.

there's no padded base for the insert, items should are rested on the padded base of the bag..

inserts no padded base ... i also got buy inserts from cathay . no base as well, only bag has. i got , 3bx, f2 ,f6

Bottoms pads as an accessory comes separately.

Ok, let me get this right. The base of the inserts are not padded but there is one right? So I can grab one of those and shove it into my messenger bag?

ops my bad, i found 1 insert , think i bought it ,has a base!!

Think depends on which insert you are intending to buy. The one I bought has a base, I use it when I want to use my normal sling bag to store my cam when going out.
