Question OwnUser Vertical Grip.. Reliable?

I'm interested in the OwnUser Vertical Grip for E-510.
I'm unsure about the reliability in the brand.

Anybody used it before?
Any pros n cons on the battery life as compared to using the Olympus battery without the grip?
Do I need to remove the cover of the battery compartment on the body?

Thanks.

pro
-newer Grip which is E51R has IR remote control at back and front.
-2 shutter button, good for left handed as well,
-longer batt juice if compare to single batt operation,
-better feel on holding(well subjective to individual)
-has a battery pack together with it,
-even up the weight when use bigger lens to kits.
-good after sales service. (the boss take feedback)

Con
-some mentioned it will drain batt juice even not in use (I believe it has been rectified)
-quite plastic feel,
-no rubber grip at the holding area,
-no dial on the grip,

Hope above clear your queries. look ard, there is some discussion in four thirds sub-forums on this grip before.

Does it means that the battery will drain even I don't use it?
No dial on grip means I can adjust the settings on the grip? Does other brand of grip have it?

question 1, yes, batt will drain even you dun use it. not sure if they rectify this issue.

question 2, no dial meaning no setting to be done oso mean u cant adjust your exposure on the grip.
