    Have been doing this for years. Bought 2 laptops, some electronics, computer peripherals, DVDs, etc. Thought that everyone did that to get stuff on the cheap from the US.

    almost forgot...
    as promise to Rubedo, this is how to test a lens for front/back focusing issue.

    1. align 3 batts as below in the photo
    2. focus the #2 batt (middle) at wide open, at minimum focusing distance
    3. shoot. then pixel peep to your satisfaction.
    4. if front batt in focus, then u hv front focusing issue. vice versa for the last batt.
