    Default CS4 saving problem

    Hi when I finished editing my pictures on cs4,i put the saving format as JPEG but when it came out tthe format was either Unknown or PDF file can u guys help?

    Are you sure? Somethings sounds wrong.

    Best is - save first as PSD (the photoshop format). It's a lossless format, and you retain layers etc.

    Then in a second step go for File > Export for Web. And choose JPG, etc. That's the best way, as it will automatically flatten layers, etc.

    Hi Bro, have you tried flattening the image 1st? Following that, choose to save as and select jpeg and name your file. See if that works.
    Your pictures speaks for you, not your camera.

    You might be processing your image in 16-bit. Converting it to 8-bit before saving might allow you to save it in JPEG format.
