Oh i kinda like that shot too with whip coral polyps opened. That was one good dive. Whole bunch of us decended to 20+m at Pinang and stayed around this rock for the whole dive. I spotted the zanzibar first, then as the whole group moved around the rock we found more and more stuff. Total, 1 zanzibar, 2 xeno crabs, 3 bubble coral shrimps, 2 nudis, many many skeleton shrimp.

Nah lazy to bring the 105mm to Dayang liao. Shall reserve that lens for pygmies, gobies and hopefully can shoot a flasher wrasse one of these days.

Been using my 50mm with diopter and wet lens.

Anyway there are many spots with skeleton shrimp. Backside of Lang (aka 'A' rock), Captain's Point and even Rayner's rock has. Just look for 'dirty' looking whip corals, chances are that the 'dirt' is actually skeleton shrimp infestation.

Shoot at a high f-stop and high shutter speed and use strobes to light up the subject only.
