In the hands of someone who knows what they are doing it's excellent, in the hands of someone who's clueless it's useless.

Default Bronica ETRsi

Cheap and good. Low resale value. The new PE lens produce sharper image.

heard that new Bronica lenses are expensive, yet very low resale value. Is this true?

Default bronica

If I'm not wrong, there's no agent in Malaysia that supports the Bronica medium format system. Tried to sell my full set there but no taker. It's popular in the UK. Secondhand shops here buy in at very low rates.

The lens can be quite costly if you buy brand new. The price is almost comparable to the mamiya RZ.

Most film based MF gear if used professionally has a low resale value. Bronica kit is very popular down here with the studio and field professionals and it gets batttered beyond belief as does most kit!

Default The Price Is Reasonable

I just bought the whole system below RM 2k. Came with 2 lenses, a body , 2 backs and the grip + strap and a prism finder + WL Finder. It is wonderful and i am moving away from Digital. With this price you can't find a decent digital SLR that can give you a 12R print. I think iat below RM 2K its money's worth.

my etrs has served me well for i donno how many years liao.. had an etr body that lasted 8 plus yeras... now i use my etrsi as a backup to ALL my assignments that require 645.... in all, it's an EXCELLENT system that gives results comparable to mamiya, and at times, even hassy with the PE lenses...
