hi everyone,
I'm recently considering to buy a bag for my DSLR, and i have narrowed down to these two bags Fastpack 250 - http://products.lowepro.com/product/...k-250,2086.htm and Slingshot 200 - http://products.lowepro.com/product/...%20AW,2035.htm I still on the fence between the two of these bags, both of the bags have the capacity that i need and they are priced very closely together, only $20 difference. I'm wondering if you all have any suggestions or advice to give on which bag to get. Joel Nikon D50 - 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G DX, 70-300mm VR f/4.5-5.6G, 11-18mm f4.5-5.6 |

If you are comparing like for like (capacity), a backpack would always be more comfortable to a sling back while the sling bag would be more comfortable to a shoulder bag. There may be exceptions but you can take this as a norm.
I have a Fastpack 200 (backpack) and a F2 (shoulder bag). Each serve a different purpose.

I have a lowepro nova 5 bag and the shoulder strap is a little uncomfortable once you carry your stuff around for sometime. which is why i thought of getting another bag.
the fastpack will surely be more comfortable while carrying for long periods of time, i dont know about the slingshot, its should strap is placed differently from the normal sling bags like the nova 5 which i have i wonder if there is a difference. Joel |

Since you already have a shoulder bag, might as well go for a backpack. Takes the load off one shoulder. Much more comfortable.

thats great, i have another question. cos its likely that i will want to carry that bag around most of the time and i'm wondering if the bag is like too big that it look like a camping bag i dont mean bulky but just big?
I'll seen the lowepro video and some other videos online on the bag and the bags were carried by americans/ europeans which are a lot bigger built than asians and the bag does not seemly look very huge on them. but what if its an asian.. Joel |

You have to consider what are the stuffs that you will be bringing out. The size of the bag that you need.
I guess you'll have to feel the real thing in store. ![]() |

dont think that will be a prob. there are customizable walls in it, i fit mine 450D with BG and 70-200 f4 L IS together with a 430EX II and a tamron 17-50.
