Hi,
I am thinking of getting a camera backpack with quick access, some compartment for accessories or clothing, and the bag back should have those air flow design, i.e. you won't feel that hot at the back while walking around with it. My budget is about $100. Please recommend and sugggest where can I possibly find it. Thanks. Regards. |

Im thinking of getting a lowepro bag.. Model is Fastpack... There are different sizes for it...
I feel that i can access to the camera quite fast and it got a compartment to hold my personal items, maybe you can take a look at it... Can get it at cathay, other places i not really sure.. |

Haha, too eager to get the bag. Usually, I will take FM2, 50mm, 105mm and 20-35mm lens, with a Metz 40MZ3 flash, and an Olympus C5060 digital cam. At times, I may like to bring my 80-200mm lens along. Hopefully, I can use this bag for travelling, trekking, etc. Therefore, would like to have a bag that will not cause my back sweat so much.

single sling if heavy load will kill your shoulders. I myself use Targus bag. Lots of space, padding and bloody cheap to boot. Great for trekking or if need to carry for equipment for almost the whole day. Dont really feel the sweat on my back though.

Thanks for your suggestion. Yes, I agreed with you that sling bag is very stressful to the shoulder. I have being using 1 for the past years, and I experienced it. That's why I am looking for backpack. Have look through your thread, although, it is very cheap, the lens and the camera may not be easily accessible, and may need to search through the bag for smaller items. I am thinking of using it as a day trip bag, as well as a camera bag (2-in-1), so it can be quite messy if there is no partition available.
I saw the Lowepro fastpack and the Tamrac (I am not sure what is the model). The back is flat and it is laying against the back, so I am not sure if it is that good that it will not sweat on the back. |

i don't think there's any bag out there that will fit all your criteria. you may have to make some compromises. unless of course you want to diy non camera backpacks by putting inserts.

I am planning to get Lowepro CompuTrekker/Micro Trekker. Its also a backpack. Wide space, good for travelling and can hold tripod.

I think Kata 3N1 may fit your usage description except the price is higher than yr budget, there are some Youtube video to demo how to use it. I am using Lowepro mintrekker because its cheap and comes with rain/dust shield; the bad thing is it is hot when walking for long distance, and also need to put the bag on the floor/table in order to take anything out of the bag.
