Which Digi Cam for Leica M and R lens

Hi intend to get one digi cam thru adapter for Leica M and R mount lens, have been thinking to buy canon or Panasonic G1. Can any bro enlighten what are the different between canon and panasonic, sorry if i had posted in the wrong forum.

I'll try to answer your question:

1.The Canon DSLR crop factor(for crop cameras like 500D, 50D) is 1.6, while G1 is micro four thirds, which has a crop factor of 2

2. The G1 isn't a DSLR, it uses an electronic view finder.
