    Have done plenty of this kind of "ulu ulu" photography before liao.. this time will be to bash through the jungle. Long time no play liao

    True this really helps alot but i won't consider it litter but encourage to do so.
    Instead of throwing on the ground, tie on the tree with a marker indicating the arrow of direction.
    It can benefit others for future visit too. MOST IMPORTANT if really got lost, ranger will be easily to track where you guys been to or able to back track 90 degrees from the arrow direction

    I only have my reliable compass from my army days. Been thru Brunei jungle with it.

    without compass, can lookout for the southern cross stars in the skies late at night also mah...

    Did a check on Google and Yahoo map base on location info 1.3483, 103.8123, The easiest way in is by the golf course, Sime Road.

    but golf courses are usually not accessible to the public.

    saw the google map and not a good idea of bring that along cause you cant see the contour of the area clearly its covered by trees

    Topo map of SG is under SAF classification of CONFIDENTIAL.

    We won't be able to find any maps to access the area..
    But based on google map, we can actually plot a route into the MGR from a chosen entrace location..

    Someone needs to be very familiar with his pacing though to actually get there... but this is Singapore.. terrain is quite easily so won't get lost on your way out.. finding the almost covered shrine though, is a different thing altogether.. From the maps, seems to be hidden within a vegetated area.. I was hoping there is a canopy opening
