any minimum number to start the session?

Thanks for your question.

From the response so far, we're not too concerned at this moment about the minimum number required to start the class. We're more concerned about limiting the class size to a good number so that each participant receive the best attention from Berthold.

So far three persons have signed up for the class, so we're pretty assured that the class will proceed as advertised.

Because a few of you asked - here some clarification and more details what we'll do during the workshop

• The stock inspection process - what are all the typical mistakes, how to recognize them, and how to fix some of them in Photoshop; or better how to avoid them from the start
• Basic workflow - A-Z. From how to organize your shoots/files and make best use of tools like Lightroom/Aperture to
• Simple touch-ups for stock: what to do, and what to avoid. Plus some high-end retouching to 'open your eyes' how the real pros do it
• A checklist for the inspection process - and it's application. We'll discuss some sample pictures from the participants. I'll be asking each participant to submit 10 hi-res pictures for critique (this will also cover - what's is 'good=sellable' stock). Ideally submit both - your original RAW file, and your 'best and final' jpg. After you sign up; Photoscholar will give you instructions where/how to submit; and I'll bring them to the workshop with suggestions/critique
• Plus the 'ideal equipment'/setup. From computer, software to camera, lights, etc.
• Q&A -
  anything else you have on your mind

What we will NOT do

• this is not a full blown Photoshop training nor
• a model shoot (no camera needed) nor
• how to use your camera or how to use a studio, lights, etc.

These 3 are workshops/courses in itself - we can do that another time; and Photoscholar can help you

If you have particular questions that you think we should cover, let me know now - and I'll see how I can build it into the workshop and share examples, do some hands on demos, etc.

You ideally bring your laptop with Photoshop, if you have Lightroom/Aperture, and some of your pictures (RAW, jpg) to play with.
