Default Selphy ES-series

Anyone have experience with the Selphy ES-series?
Do they suffer the same underexposure prints like the Selphy CPs?

I have the CP750 and the underexposure problem is rather bad in my opinion.

Same situation. I either +1 stop (flash) or batch PP with +1/3 stop (plus further adjust by eye).

I read from some other post that you can send in to CSC for recalibration. But I didn't bother because so far the compensate results in pretty good fleshtone. Heh.. heh..

If your CP750 is needs to adjust more than 1 stop, then maybe worth a visit to CSC.

Is this specific to a previous batch? in other words, if one buys a new cp printer now, will it still suffer from underexposure?

I think the problem still exists with the newer models

I have been using CP-760 for about a year, I think the exposure is OK.. I like the results also..

perhaps, you could turn your monitor brightness to less bright, so that your judgment of the brightness on the picture will be the same as the printer itself. Instead of doing a -1/3 stop adjustment on every picture..

I just bought a CP-770 and it looks to me that the photos turn out a little darker.

ES series have 60DPI while CP series have only 30DPI.. i think that the print results will be better on ES series.. i am a ES30 user....
