Default AdobeRGB or sRGB for K10D?

Guys..
Can anyone shed some light for me regarding this matter? What color space to use for K10D?

What's the difference actually?

Check Digital Darkroom, discussed there several times and in detail. Nothing specific to Pentax.

Just google and you can get most of the answers...

AdobeRGB has a bigger gamut than sRGB, Adobe RGB 1998 extends beyond sRGB for shadow (~25%), midtone (~50%), and highlight colors (~75%).

So u get more, but if ur monitor is not well calibrated, ur images will look very funny or bad, and the web also can't handle it...

Which to use, if u want things simple, just stick to sRGB which is good enough in most cases...

if u are someone who wants everything as perfect as possible, than use AdobeRGB where u have more color depth, or there is even the PRO photo RGB which has even bigger gumut than adobeRGB. You can always downgrade to sRGB when u export for web veiwing...

Thanks for the answer. Guess I'll better stick to sRGB.
