Default Lower Seletar's Rays

it's been a long time.. been very busy with school projects lately.

exams over now.. just sharing what i got today.



and here's the bnw version..



i prefer the bnw somehow..

I like the colour one because of the mix of colours in the photo. Bit dark though. Made me feel gloomy

Look like the big rain cloud was very low and close to you.

I like the colour pic better, the colours stand out against the gloomy sky. The BnW pic does not have enough contrast IMHO. very nice clouds and rays.

The B/W one has a more "postcard" feel, but I think the coloured version is nicer. Love the light rays.

i have to agree.. but increase contrast will lose some details..hmm.. duno ley..juz my preference i guess. thanks for dropping by!

IMHO, not all details need to be preserved. For such shots, I believe "feeling" comes first, and technicalities second. The colour shot certainly has "feeling", but not the B&W one. Boost the contrasts on the B&W image, and do some selective dodging, burning. I'm sure you'll be able to produce a B&W version with equivalent "feeling" too.

Wow, nice shoot,
Look closely on the bottom centre left , cloud formation form up eye ,nose, mouth, hair and ear of the human face in half look toward of left side.
good capture.....
