Don't go in April, at 35 degrees Celsius is just too hot.

At the highest peak it was 10 degrees in the morning and 19 degrees when I reached there in the afternoon. In Chiang Mai it's 35 degrees.

Many options. You should have taken a full day Eco safari.

I booked my daily tour at the Chiang Mai airport and selected the packages I wanted only. I have more options that way, and planned all my tours for 4 days. Tour packages from home agency is very restrictive and expensive. Would you believe that my 4 days on all the tour cost me 3800 bahts? That's S$160 only. That's how cheap it is to book the tours when you reach there. That fee even covered airport-hotel transport and back on last day. All daily tours included pickup and return to base hotel, and lunch included. Wonderful isn't it?
