Default Canon free EOS bag is too small

Anybody bought xxD series and got the free canon bag?

I went to collect the bag today and it's so small, for xxD series, you need to unmount the lens before you can squeeze into the bag. And after you put it in, you can only try to put one more lens.

The free Sony bag that I got before is so much bigger, dun need to unmount and still got space for 2 more lens.

Canon if you are reading this, give us xxD customers bigger bag.

Yeah its too small for a xxD Camera. But for my 450D camera, i manage to squeeze 1 camera with my tamron lens and another zoom lens. External pocket squeeze my flash unit in. lol.

Ya lah I have a proper bag, but the point is, Canon should not even give out a bag that cannot even be used in the first place as a promotion to mislead customers.

i think the bag is targetted at consumers who want to travel light and use the cam with one lens..i don't expect one with a 50D+L lens to be using a free bag.

That bag put 400d + 18-55 is just nice fit. 40/50D and above size can only use to put ur body when u go service center for cleaning. Mine i remove the strap, throw on table use to store my charger + battery + spare CF card etc....

I don't know about you but I'm thinking something is wrong with the way you packed your bag. My friend had no problems fitting her 40D with 18-55 IS lens into that bag, with room for another lens.

"Too small" is relative, no? Of course, for someone owning a 50D and grip and 4 other lenses it'll be too small, but to someone starting off, the free bag is a godsend (and this is the target group Canon would most likely assume the bag would cater to), after spending a good 1k+ on the kit.

Precisely. And it wasn't even close to "misleading".

yeah. They don't even have a free CF card. The staff at JO3:16 took back the CF card after I tested the camera...

I guess Canon thinks that if one can afford a professional or semi-professional camera, they should have everything they need already...
