Good 3rd party lenses with Canon

Sorry for the noob question.

I have been reading on so many brothers talking about using Contax, Leica, etc.

What are the better prime lenses (eg 35mm, 50mm, etc) that fellow Canon photogs have used before? Care to share your experiences as well as sample photos?

I believe you should be asking for 3rd party Manual Focus / Adaptable lenses. I have no experience with them, though.
