Professional help needed on Imaging Software
Hi, may i know where is the difference between imaging software like photoshop and those customised imaging software for specific professional printer? Will the latter be better in terms of the colour management since the software is customised to the specific printer which you print?? Thanks!

Re: Professional help needed on Imaging Software
Imho, the colour management and profiling is most important. The printer-specific software might have some features that PS and other image editors don't have. But if you want colour accuracy then profiling is the key. Either you use the profiles provided with the printer software for certain types of paper or you create your own profiles.
Btw: profiling start with the monitor. No point messing around with your printer if your display is not profiled.
