Default any alternative to a yashica electro 35 GSN?

Couple of months ago, I was feeling a bit "itchy", and bought several rangefinders - a Canonet 28, a Yashica Electro 35 GSN and an Olympus 35 (something.. can't rem).

Past week, I've been taking these toys out to make full use of them.

I found that the Yashica is too big for my hands. When I'm holding the camera, my second finger is too short to reach to press the shutter.

But I do like the camera quite a fair bit.. I liked the fact that the aperture can be changed, and that at least I can have a bit of "control" over the shots.

Is there any other good and cheap alternative to the Yashica? I will probably sell the Yashica if I can find a good alternative. Something probably smaller, but with similar features/functions.

I do like the Canonet 28.. but it's not very good for low light (I feel) and doesn't have aperture controls.

Anyway... thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Cheers

Hey Jinny,
the Olympus 35 range may be what you are looking for.

Its pretty small, at least compared to the GSN.
Nice bright lens.

Thanks guys..

RF, hi hi! I'll probably take out my Olympus for a "walk" again.. It's the 35 range, but can't remember what is the exact model.

I've looked at the ad on the Minolta Himatic.. =) Was tempted.. The other one which I had been eyeing previously was the Minolta Himatic 7s2, but that seems quite rare and expensive.

Leica CL.. that seems quite nice. Maybe I'll look out for it.

Cheers

I believe there is someone selling a Leica CL with lens, somewhere in the Buy/Sell: Other Camera Brands/Formats forum.

Kooku_gal..

Will let you know. But you sure u want it? If your hands are small like mine, it's going to be difficult for you to hold and press the shutter at the same time. =)
