I tried googling replenisher but couldn't find an answer.
I wanted to buy some microphen for push processing, but when I search it on the website of the shop I usually buy from, they only have "Microphen developer replenisher" - is this any different from developer? |

So, looks like it means - when we reuse the Developers for instance , the Replenishers will re-energise the weakened solution back to it original strength. Amateurs who only process once in a while will normally dump the Chemistry after finishing the job for the day . So replenishers would only be used by high volume users who never dump .
Do correct me someone if this is wrong . Thanks . ![]() |

You're right.... hobbyists doing hand development typically use their chemistry 'one shot' and dispose of it after they're done. Very concentrated developers like HC-110 offer such good economy that one hardly even considers reuse. One $20 bottle is good for nearly a hundred rolls at 1:100.
Replenishers are only for VERY high volume machine systems. (you could theoretically use it for high volume by hand, but your manpower cost would go out of control). Think photo processing labs and their hundreds of rolls a day. |
