Anyone heard of insurance for camera?
Anyone heard of the above or bought one?
Came across at http://www.photo.net/learn/insurance
As the price of camera is definately more than 'take home pay' for most of us here (excluding all accessories), it would be good to have one, isn't it?

All my camera gear is covered by insurance with Photoguard (UK) which gives me worldwide cover and new-for-old policy. Of course, all the equipment are insured based on their new prices or current equivalent new price in the current market... i.e. my F3 is insured for the current equivalent if a replacement is required - the F5 in this instance.

Yup, however, Photoguard only covers residents of UK, not the rest of the world.
