Which one of the filter is cheaper and where does it made from?

How do I identify the two and where can i get the cheapest brass filter?

in general they are about the same price.

but the aluminum alloy is looked on unfavourably as the china one.

image quality is the same.

some people feel the alloy one is better as if you suffer an impact on the barrel, the alloy one will dent and take the brunt of the impact. if you use brass, the brass will remain intact but pass along the impact to the lens barrel which may or may not crack.
