Hello,

Selling a wonderful lens. It is a Vivitar Series I 20th year Anniversary Edition of 28-70 f2.8 AF lens for Alpha Mount. Minimum Focus distant is only 0.5m which is excellent for such a lens. FYI, Minolta 28-70 f2.8 G has minimum focus distant of 1m.

Bought this lens and wanted to get it clean but just can't find the time.

Not a very well known lenses as it was only produced at very low run. Generally, when a company release Anniversary Edition lens, they will generally make it a very nice lens.

Apart from some small cosmetic mark on the body and slight haze (can only be seen on certain angle) this lens is in Excellent condition. I can't get the haze to show up in photograph...

It is pretty sharp lens, of course not sharp as CZ 24-70, but certainly don't cost 10x the price.

I did a quick test this morning and you can judge for yourself the sharpness at f2.8 under flat indoor lighting which is very demanding for lens sharpness.

Aperture blade is clean, Front and end Glasses are perfect. Zoom is nice and smooth.

Come complete with the box, hardcase, manual, front and end cap.

Conservatively rate 8/10 due to slight haze in the lens.

If you want a sharp and fast 2.8 zoom, not enough budget for the CZ or Minolta lenses, this is probably one of the best lens you could get.

By the way, most of the part is made of metal rather than cheap plastic. The lens is pretty heavy for the size... (553g as per manual) and using 72mm filter thread so you know how much glass is there.

Also, this is a full frame lens and images of my son was shoot with this lens with A-900.

Please don't buy it if you are worry about little minor haze which does nothing to the image quality.
