Prime lens questions from a newbie

hi guys just wondering if anyone is using the Sigma 30mm f1.4 here?

how it compares with the SAL50?

I don't own it, but heard from a friend who has it and seems to be a good lens.

Err... SAL50 is a 50mm F1.4 so should compare it with Sigma 50mm F1.4. Otherwise, 30mm vs 50mm seems like a photography preferences rather than lens issue itself.

thanks for pointing that out.. for the wrong comparison

wanted more info on those who has a hands on the 30mm lens and if there's any drawbacks that they dun like
