I have always been curious about Christmas Island.

I read that Christmas Island is a weekly flight. Is it community safe there? And any advise on accomodating and guides.

What's the luggage limit from KL?
It used to be 35kg from Changi.

Christmas island is a nice place, really amazing visibility. Was there last December to look for giant spotted guppies but unfortunately only saw one. Anyway, saw from one website that they may restart the weekly flights from Sg to Christmas Island from June.

they had a good deal at adex i saw... 1600+ for group booking of 6, 8 days, board lodging and flights.
if just going without group prices from about 2200, but still not bad as include flight and food.

Then, I was using Olympus E-500 with 8mm FE housed with Ikelite housing and 8" dome. Dual D-2000W strobes. Manual controlled.

KL: 20kg plus 5kg buffer - it is a MAS chartered flight.

Food? Lunch only right? Coz on the island is mainly DIY ...OTOT type of trip.
I am planning for a return trip in August 2009 national day week...
who is keen?
