Amazing marina green race 2009

This event will be held in conjunction with the Singapore International Water Festival (SIWF) on 21 June 2009 (Sun) which is jointly organised by the Singapore Polytechnic (SP) and Public Utilities Board (PUB). The Amazing Marina Green Race is a land race that will require its participants (in teams of 2 – 6 members) to complete a designated route around the Marina area.

The starting and ending point of the race is at the Marina Barrage. Clues in the form of a crossword puzzle, word clue, fill-in-the-blanks, drawing etc. will be given, leading to specific areas (checkpoints) around Marina. At each checkpoint and the ending point, there will be some “green” or environmentally related activities or games.

To take part in the Amazing Marina Green Race, a registration form needs to be submitted. A small fee of $5 is applicable to each member. Payment can be via cheque or cash payment to the School of Chemical & Life Sciences Office. Funds raised from the Amazing Marina Green Race will benefit various charity organisations such as the ST Pocket Money and Clementi Student Service Centre.
