Hello guys...

Been testing my 70-200 f2.8 G SSM to make sure that the lens is working well and the image quality is up to my 80-200 f2.8 APO G HS.

After few months of testing, I can conclude that SSM is just as good as the HS version. The only added benefit is it is silent but it cost about $1k more and physically it is a lot bigger than the HS version which is not very travel friendly. But nonetheless I love the quietness and image is comparable.

Its time for me to let go this baby of mine....

I don't think I need to introduce this lens any further for those who knows...if you are not sure, please google for it and I am sure you won't find anything bad about it.

The lens was checked at SSC about 3 months ago and it is confirmed that everything is working perfectly.

It has about 3 little dusk specks internally which is not doing anything.

Paint on the hood has come off a little here and there but nothing major and it is a very normal of this lens.

Mechanically and optically it is 9.5/10 (can't say 10 because it has been used)
Body is about 9/10 as it has very very small paint lost which is typical of this lens

I am not in the hurry to sell... it will stay as a back up lens as long as it is not sold.

I am happy to trade with a very good condition Beercan which has hood.

Forgotten to take the aperture blade condition, but it is as pristine as it should be and no sign of oil.
