Was back in Sg recently for a couple of days last week, having been away for over 6mths. It seems i spend more time abroad than home these days, and each time i come back, something's disappeared/changed.... Just to share some shots i took, mainly in the Bedok, Joo Chiat and Chinatown areas, all tradition suburban hubs....

All shot with my M8 and 28mm 1.9 and 15mm f4.5... And no, i'm still too stingy to buy an IR cut filter...

nice series. on reflection i think suburban areas are really tidy and clean, maybe sometimes too tidy and clean..

As one who also only comes back to sg now and then, I know exactly how you feel... all the new developments. tearing down of old(er) buildings and all that. Imagine my surprise when I saw that Hotel Phoenix and Specialists' Shopping Center turned into something else

I remember reading a column in ST lamenting that little india and geylang serai are the only colourful places left. i think geyland serai is going to be alot more sterile no thanks to rojak.
