Comparing Nikon and Canon
There are lots of people asking the difference between Canon and Nikon. Both are excellent systems and have their own strengths and weaknesses. Here I'm adding good links to help in comparing the two systems especially for those who have yet to commit to a single system (other systems would be added).

Hmmm,
I'm surprised no one mentioned this exhaustive Nikon lenses review by a pro... Most if not all AF lenses as well as MF lenses has been listed one way or another. |

 There is a quite interesting mailing list (I'm surprised it's not quoted on Earthbound Light, as the guy is actively participating in many threads on the list) at:http://www.photo.cis.to (there are four lists, one of which is Nikon-centered) And interesting stuff, especially concerning the N90s can be found on: http://www.mit.edu/people/cai - search for his photo gear pages An interesting commercial site (also quoted on Earthbound Light's links) for camera body/computer communication from N90s to F5 is a South-African one: http://www.cocoon-creations.com They propose an interesting replacement for the discontinued Photo Secretary for the F90x/N90s, a far complete set of cables and software (disclaimer: I'm, in no way, commercially involved in this company :-)). Some how i always find that there are more articles comparing between Nikon to Canon systems than other systems. Is Canon system really so good that its a becoming a benchmark? or if Canon system is inferior, then why should it be use as comparison in the first place? Just some thoughts...

Does anyone remember a website which gives ratings to lens (both Nikon/Canon/3rd party brands)? The ratings are for things such as focusing speed, vignetting, etc. The ratings are given in terms of +++. I went to that website a few weeks back but lost the URL.
