I just experienced it.
Just now I viewed my pics in my laptop with a card reader and I rotate some of the pictures in the pc. After which, I put the memory card back in the LX3, those that I have rotated in the pc cannot be view in the camera. Exactly same as yours, black screen. I also dunno whats wrong. Guess maybe there are some compatibility problem. Anyone can advise?

It sounds like rotating in windows makes the file unreadable by LX3, maybe its the way windows does its rotation? Not sure about the intricate technical details, but I think the easiest workaround is to not rotate the photos on the memory card? If you want the ones on your computer to be rotated, copy to your harddisk, rotate whatever you want and don't touch the ones on the memory card I suppose.
![]() For me I copy everything onto the harddisk before viewing them and deciding whether to rotate anything or do any pp, I always leave the photos on the memory card alone, in case the OS corrupts the files somehow. Last edited by spEechLeZ; 18th April 2009 at 07:28 AM. |

You can't viewed externally modified/processed JPEG/RAW in any cam.... not only LX3
What solution do you want??? Last edited by chalib; 18th April 2009 at 09:20 AM. |
