Haha... for now I am content with the Canon 18-200mm...

Compare with those lenses, 18-200mm is more towards convenience and that's all.

Wah. I was thinking of tamron 28-75mm initially, but afraid i might lose out on the landscape for my trip.

Well, think about it. There isn't exactly a rule that says a specific focal length is required to take landscape shot. Be flexible with what you have in hand and most probably you can solve it with your legs moving around.

Haha. True. So the 28-75 is a better buy than the 17-50mm. 28-75 + 70-200mm, fits nicely.

Bigma 50-500mm my friend. Couple it with a kit lens and you're good to go!

It is up to your usage.
For me, I normally take lots of event photos.
17mm becomes quite important for me to take the group photos with limited space.
28-75mm is way of too tight for my usage.
So, u really need to study ur usage and decide that urself.
no one can decide that for u.
    Happy BBB...

Hmm. I planned on this Canon 10-22mm, Tamron 28-75mm, Tamron 70-200mm.

But the canon 10-22mm is additional cost. So i swap with Tamron 17-50. But i have a range gap.

If that minor range gap is that problematic, then I guess you had better get overlapping lenses.

Then what's with the weight of that lens being heavy about? It's only normal for lens of that range to be that heavy.

I'll go test if that gap is important.
