Yep, I'm keen too. Looks like a really tranquil place and definitely lots of photography opportunities

i was trying to process my RAW files in photoshop cs4 (1st time) and did some basic adjustments in Camera RAW - on the screen it looks great but after i tried to output to Jpeg (quality 10) the colours just totally washed out - looks really desaturated. Anyone can help with tt?

Calibrate your color profile. Both Monitor and Software.

It will be different for uncalibrated monitor.

Just like Adobe RGB and sRGB. You do not see it very clearly but Adobe RGB is more rich in colors.

But, FYI, calibration does not bring you to 100% close to what you want. It is about 95% to 98% close only.

Never shoot RAW and convert to jpg before. Maybe I will give it a try and see how.

ATM, google about it first perhaps.

Same style i guess. Check out this site. Mine was from here. A CCA at school. The words make it look good. In real life, it's just subjective.

Happens with Canon DPP also. Editing so nice. Later convert. Looks worst. How about convert to Jpeg first then edit.
