Registration will close once it reach 12 shooters. The rest will be placed on reserve list until someone is willing to lead the another group of 12 together with me.

The places are grabbing fast by other shooters.

Ubin walk a lot, my legs are going to break again!

Not really hard now, don't need to move my furniture just to load the film into the dark tank

1st SSS Location, no choice have to walk. Cannot leave the bikes by the roadside and bash through the vegetation to go up to the peak.

After which, we will rent the bicycles to take us to places around the island.

    Pulau Ubin/Chek Jawa SSS Outing

Date: 1 May (Labour Day - Public Holiday) or 3 May, Sunday
    Time: 9am to late afternoon

    Outing Outline:

09.00am - Meet at Changi Village Market, International Nasi Lemak (Breakfast)
09.45am - Head over to Changi Point Jetty / Roll-Call
10.00am - Board Bumboat to head towards Pulau Ubin

    10.15am to end of outing

First SSS Location: Ubin's highest peak
    • Natural sighting of Goddess of Mercy
    • Panoramic view of Mainland Singapore - Punggol Areas
    • Insects Photography
    • 2 different quarry along the way

    Second SSS Location: Chek Jawa
    • Marina Life
    • Landscapes
    • Birding
    • Animal Sightings

    Interested Shooters:

    1. RyanG
    2. draken413o
    3. Vin
    4. Just2ofus
    5. NovJoe
    6. Raylen
    7. toughtrees
    8. sleepytiti
    9.
    10.
    11.
    12.

Kindly indicate which date you preferred and will go with the majority.

    Important Note:
    • Wear comfortably (For 450D Photography Club, wear the Blue club tee for those who has it.)
    • A good footwear is recommended. (Scandals allowed provided it will not slip off as there's some bush bashing to be done en-route to the highest peak)
    • Bring drinking water, cap/hat & face towel. (it can get real hot during mid day)
    • Insect Repellent (Optional. Bring if you want.)
    • Bring enough cash as we will have lunch/short teabreak on the island. (No ATMs hor)

I personally recommend cycling to Chek Jawa as it is very far. Walking may take awhile and when it's hot, we are gonna be slow. Travel on bicycle is faster and creates the wind needed.

Caution: On bicycle, never speed as the ground is unpredictable.

What about our camera gear while we are cycling? Just wondering how you guys did it last time ahaha.

Anyways the night shots turned out to be 1-2 stops underexposed, but sharp!
    Hopefully scanned by this morning.

Keep back into the bag. Take out only when we need to shoot at a location.

I recommend to use backpacks with easy access. Tripods not neccessary. Anyone got super lightweight ones can volunteer to bring? Need just one for group shots.

@!#*!^#@!^# KNN four of my frames got double exposure. Nooooooooooooooooooooo.

That includes the portrait of me friend with 90 cron and a potentially good shot. Oh well, film is always fun!

    Edit: The last stalker photo

The shadows are like grain farms, dots all over!
