    Default D80: CHA error

    hi all,

    i was taking a sunset shot and suddenly there is a CHA error on my D80. then the camera shows card cannot be read message. I am using a 4gb lexar sd card.

    i have two questions:
    1) how do i recover the images?
    2) why did CHA error happen?

    2)happened to me while using my D70 a looong time ago. after shooting using other memory cards, i realised it was the memory card's fault- ie faulty/dying memory card.

    1)you can use recovery softwares designed for memory cards. google memory card recovery

    thanks for your advice.

    anybody has good sd card recovery program to recommend? i'm using both mac os and win os.

    the software u can try is: recover my files
